Living in New England has made us live, enjoy and fall in love with the different seasons here. Residing in Massachusetts, New Hampshire has been our backyard and we often plan to explore different regions in the state all year round. Ranging from vibrant colors of fall to blues oceans and amazing winter attractions, this state has variety of activities to offer!

1. White Mountains
The White Mountains are part of the northern Appalachian mountains covering almost a quarter of the state. This is one of the most common tourist attraction attracting people from all of the country due to its vibrant fall foliage. One of the most scenic highways in the white mountain area is the Kancamagus Highway taking a turn from the town of Lincoln.
2. Mount Washington
The next destination on your list in New Hampshire should be Mount Washington.
It is the highest peak in the North East region of the US! It is said that on a clear day you can look see 5 different states along with some areas in Canada. You can take the cog rail to the summit or drive to the using the Mount Washington auto road. It is one of the best places to enjoy the famous New England fall foliage and draws thousands of tourists from around the country.
3. Flume Gorge
Located in the White Mountain area it is a 2 mile loop hike studded with waterfalls. The granite rock which forms the walls of the gorge was formed millions of years ago in ancient geologic times. Later on Lava was pushed through the cracks of the granite rock.
At the base during the hike there is a pool which is formed by a silt laden stream flowing from the glaciers almost 25,000 years ago.
4. Castle in the Clouds
This beautiful mansion sits on a 5,500-acre mountaintop estate in Moultonborough, NH. Its a must-see castle on your next visit to NH. It overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee and is open to public. The views and the landscapes from the top are incredible!
5. Mount Monadnock
World’s second most climbed mountain, Mt Monadnock in the north east region of US stands in singularity with a summit at 3,165 feet, popular for the expansive vistas of New England. The hike to the summit typically offers a great challenge to the novice hikers and a fun climb to the most experienced ones.
6. Ice Castle
Winter is coming!! And with it there are many fun-filled winter activities you can do in the state of New Hampshire. One of these is the Ice Castle. It is an award-winning frozen castle constructed with thousands of icicles, hand-placed by professional ice artists is a must visit. The castle is lit with vibrant LED lights, ice sculptures, ice-carved tunnels, slides, fountains and much more. It is ought to amaze the children and adults alike.
7. Hampton Beach
Hampton beach state park considered one of the four Superstar beaches in the US is our next destination in New Hampshire. It is a popular tourist destination and the busiest beach community in New Hampshire. Spend the summer afternoon soaking in the sun and exploring the Ocean Boulevard.
8. Loon Mountain Resort
The Loon mountains are mountain ranges located in the Lincoln region of New Hampshire offering activities and things to do all year round. It is known for its ski slopes and attracts maximum number of skiers from all over the state. However it also has a wide variety of activities for summer such as scenic gondola rides, mountain biking and hiking to name a few.
